Hi Everybody,

our hair speaks you; People don't do enough to keep their hair healthy. Many people get up in the morning, jump in a shower. Then they get out of the shower and spray all kinds of gel and harsh chemicals in their hair. With the harsh chemicals, hair dryers and curlers we use in our hair, the hair nutrients get sapped from us, here are the most effective tips that can help you to strengthen your hair and having attractive look.

The most effective solution is to use a protein-based mask once a week for a month, and then take a hiatus before treating your hair again.

Just make this a routine, like you take your vitamins every day, brush your teeth everyday, and you eat 3 meals a day, take care of your hair everyday!

Use warm water to shampoo, and cool water to rinse your conditioner out, because warm water and shampoo open the cuticle of your hair and clean it out. Washing the hair regularly helps to open the pores of your hair. When the pores are blocked, they tend to make the hair not grow and make the grown ones weak.

NEVER use a brush, as it will create too much tension on your hair and snap it off, also do not comb dry hair have it soaking wet or at least damp and try using a wide tooth comb.

Chemical processes like perming and coloring will also damage the hair. If you use these processes, be extra careful and use moisturizing treatments on a regular basis.

Finally, sleep with a satin scarf or pillowcase to protect your hair from breakage.

My daughter has long hair to her waist.
She is 8. Her hair is very dry feeling. and is a bear to brush out.
I use suave shampoo and conditioner and then towel dry it. I spray it with a Vidal Sassoon leave in conditioner. I use a hair dryer on it or it would take all day to dry. Then I brush it with a comb sort of brush. If I try to brush it wet, It just knots up terrible. I am wondering if there is a better conditioner we could use? I am not sure what to use, because it is so dry.

Is there some kind of oil I should use?

Did anyone click on the link above ? It seems that this 'sleepingbeauty' is selling things other than hair tips...I've seen her post before and she always puts a bad link on her post. Watch out or you're liable to catch a virus on your computer !

One thing i always have to wet my hair and put mousse in it because it looks so dry.If i don't once my hair dries it will look like it does when i get up in the mornings. The shampoo i use is Garnier Fructis sleek and shine, for frizzy, dry, unmangeable hair.Honey put it this way nothing helps my hair, because it's thick and it's course. The shampoo i use is good, and the conditioner to it leaves my hair soft until it dries because my hair is course.

I have been putting virgin organic coconut oil on it before blow drying (after I towel it) And then some after I dry it, putting a little extra on the ends. Brush it in well. It seems to be working. Easier to brush out, and is not as brittle feeling. Nice to braid it then, and the oil will help the curl hold, beautiful!

COWBOY MAGIC - It is silicon based & makes your hair slippery. The comb will go through the hair much easier. This is a must for anyone with longer hair - Especially kids, who hate to have their hair combed. It really is like magic!
I use jojoba oil on my hair every few days to add moisture. My hair is about mid back length, & can get very dry. Just a drop or two - It also makes the ends look great, as it acts as a smoothing agent.
They say to look for the "cones" in the ingredients in conditioners & such, as they makes the hair shiny & smooth. I kind of like to stick with the natural stuff though~
