dmail me, and I'll send you some vegetable seeds, and you can start house plants from ordinary grocery items.

Plant a few cloves of garlic in and small flower pot. Place it in a sunny window.

Let the kids try planting orange/grapefruit seeds in small dixie cups filled with moist potting soil

Fill a flower pot with potting soil, and place a small onion in the middle of the pot. Keep the soil moist and the onion will sprout, and you can use the the green top for salads and omelets.

Fill a mason jar with warm water, and insert a small sweet potato. Place the jar in a sunny window, and it will sprout and grow a very pretty vine.

I just checked her home page. She just signed up Sept 19th. I think she must be looking for free plants and not seeds.

I just realized she gave her home e-mail address ... maybe folks who have plants and seeds have emailed her so she hasn't come back to DG.

Just received an email from her, and she does want seeds. I emailed her and got her home address, so I think that is the best way to contact her. If she just signed up, maybe she hasn't checked her dmail. I'm going to put a few packets of flower seed in the mail today. She did say she has children who want to garden. I'm all for children having a little garden.

I see she's not a member, so she is not in the address exchange. Anyone wanting to send seeds or plants will have to contact her through her home email to get her address.
