Sea glass is sea glass, I'm guessing...so where have you found the best prices and selection of mosaic supplies? Online or local? Is there somewhere that offers free shipping? That would be excellent since this stuff isn't lightweight.

I'm still thinking on that backsplash project, and wondering where else I can look for those 'interesting' pieces to add to a project rather than just going with tiles.

Thoughts? Going off to search, since I didn't do that before posting THIS, either. ;)

IMO ...
You are a lot better off going to local studios or hobby shops like Hobby Lobby. Sign up for HL's weekly newsletter and get a 40% off coupon weekly that is only for newsletter subscribers.

Until you actually know what you are looking at it is much better to see it in hand before buying.

Ordering glass on line can be iffy since a lot of them are one of a kind color combo even if cut from the same sheet to begin with.

Studios/ Stores sell left over scraps of stained glass that are good for small projects or mosaic. Ordering on line you have to deal with possible breakage in transit.

Hi Birds,

You could always join us on the Trash to Treasure forum,
we're having a ball making our own. :-)

This is but page one of four at this point. The link to each
new page is at the bottom of the thread.

Come on over, we'll have fun. (And teach you some bad habits) :-)
