I just remembered that many buttons have either that metal piece on the back to attach it to a garment, or a 'built-in' plastic nub, and are not always flat.

Is this piece easy to remove with nippers? I don't want to 'invest' in button lots for my 'wall' project if they're all going to break when I try to remove that piece.

Thanks.

Haven't started it yet; still working out the questions on materials. I was inspired by "the backsplash" and am currently just collecting items to use. I put up a thread on my TJ Maxx haul, though :)
