I just found this forum and am slowly going through the posts. Love looking at photos of parks and gardens :-)
Here are photos from a spot local to me. The National Arboretum. I usually visit for some event, and hardly ever make it far from the building... The grounds are spacious, though, and I really should make a point of exploring more.
One of the sets is of the bonsai collection, which is quite impressive with some that have been in training for hundreds of years.
