Do I need to be concerned at all about the curves in the pottery pieces, or will it all just work itself out? I guess I mean re: the gluing...and whether or not there will be plenty of 'contact' to the backer material if the piece is curved?

Maybe you could nip some of the center medallions designs out to use as a focal point in your project ?

Nice score ☺

I agree get that hammer or wheeled nippers out!!!! When you used the curved pieces you often have to use a lot more thinset to adhere them because of the curve but I have seen some awesome backsplashes made out of dishes. They have even cut the cups in half and stick them up and use them to hold a sponge or flowers or whatever!!!!

Cant wait to see what you come up with!!!

Birds, oh my gosh, I didn't see this one, thank you so much
for mentioning it.

Love that pitcher, how adorable is that? Love it!

The backsplash is loading, but what I can see thus far is
fabulous! Dial-up is killing me, but it's well worth the wait!

Love your backsplash, are you using mastik to glue the pcs on, and then an unsanded grout?

Thanks for posting those pics, they are really nice.
