My usual planting time for caladiums is May 20, but, due to a broken wrist, that didn't happen this year. Worry, worry...375 bulbs still in divided trays awaiting planting when I finally gave in and had some landscapers do the job on June 9. The White Queens, normally starting their decline in mid-August, are still as full and upright as they were all season. I'd always heard the later they are planted, the longer their season. But we had an unusually cool summer here in Dallas. Any answers?
Thanks, Pat
