    This bird landed in the top of my backyard neighbors' tall tree. I could tell it looks a bit different from most birds I am used to seeing. This pic is heavily cropped. I thought maybe one of the bird experts might be able to ID it.

    Looks like an Eastern Kingbird...not a bird-feeder critter (eats bugs). They'll be migrating out very soon.

    Thanks Pelletory. After Ned identified the bird I googled it and checked out a few links. One thing it likes to do is perch in the very tops of trees!

    Yep, Eastern Kingbird.

    After large insects, rather than other birds, though.
