Hi all, I am a sahm , I quit my job when I had my DS who is now gonna be starting Kindergarden this year (yes I am excited for him but I know I will cry too). Here I have been home with him for 5 yrs & out of the fastlane. Plus a lot have happen since I last work, for example my hearing had gotten a lot worse (I am almost completely deaf now)So I already know I would not be able to do the kind of work I used to do which I would need to be able to hear. So a part of me is scared about going back to work & even looking for a job. Insurance won't pay for an hearing aide they said that it consider a luxury (which is a bunch of hooey)So we been saving to get one which cost about $2000.00 for the kind I need. Of course things come up like Washer breaking & having to replace etc. So stuff like that come first here. Lucky for me I can read lips. My DH said it up to me whether I return to the work force but I know it would help us out finance wise if I did. Of course it would have to be only part-time while ds was at school.
A part of me want to work , I work since I was 15 & love working but another part of me is saying why bother when the skill (work history)I have, I will not be able to used .
I am just a babbling on here. Just wanted to know what you all would do if the choice was your.
