hi all, meant to post this exhibit i am doing to this forum...it is definitely mosaics and glass, but not as you folks do! Hope you enjoy my "over-the-top" mirrors! thank you! sue [HYPERLINK@davesgarden.com]
You are so kind Michelle! if you are ever on rt. 19,(8010) Pinellas Park (like how can you avoid it?! lol..) You can stop in at my Antiques Mall..."Bay Area Antique Marketplace & Auction", right across from the Super Walmart, before the Park St. overpass...there is a large Brick Bldg. with our mall in it..(it is also an auction house). Just ask anybody at the reception counter..they know where my booth is..i have a couple of examples of my mirrors there..both jeweled and ceramic shards. You would also enjoy browsing this mall, as there is so much there and fun stuff too! If you haven't been there yet...it is large..all us dealers do well. My booth is chocked full of vintage jewelry, ceramics, some "Sue Originals", you name it! thanks again! sue
Hi again! As my exhibit closes, i have sold half of the items that were in the case!! I would have never expected to sell pieces in city hall!! The city manager bought the black one "Cameo Ladies" as a Christmas gift...the heart box was sold to a lady that was applying for a business license?! Who woulda thought? I have another exhibit coming up in March, so now i must get to work!! A couple of shabby chic "Pique Assiette" mirrors, (not in this exhibit) went to the former Mayor's wife too!! I am thrilled, as i didn't put much effort into selling my stuff( i just liked making them)...i would horde them away...put one on ebay, got disappointingly low bids...well, i am happy! Happy New Year's to All!!! sue
Thankyou all! I am busily crafting heart shaped "hanging" pieces for Valentine's Day! some with new components and embellished with vintage jewelry! This is too much fun! These are much smaller and easier to do...i am a paper crafter and incorporating embossed papers into these! Happy New Year, y'all!!! (a Yankee, speaking southern!! lol!) sue
