I thought I saw in one of the Handyman books something, either in the faucets or hoses for the washing machine that would shut off to prevent flooding if a hose broke. Does anyone know what I am talking about, or was this one of my better dreams?

I posted that after a crisis at my neighbor's house - to me, it's an absolute must with all the new upstairs laundries people are putting in
