| So what do you think? Tried to come up with original ideas for Aby's first birthday, something she could remember grandma by for many years to come.
I crocheted Goldilocks and purchased the 1919 version of the Three Bears?
We also made another Adirondack Chair for her with a beach scene as they live outside Ocean City, MD.
We also made a wood toy of a push elephant (Tasha collects elephants) I'll post when I get a pic. Click the image for an enlarged view.

| She's adorable! It's a great idea for Aby's birthday. The book to go along with it is a great touch.
I still have several of the dolls that were made for me when I was small, which was quite a long time ago. I treasure them.

| Thanks so much. I will be posting her again soon as she has already had a facelift!!!!!
I just couldn't tolerate the face I put on her with yarn and I don't embroider, so yesterday I found a sew on embroidered face at Michaels and so she will be getting the "lift" this evening and will look sooooooo much better. |

| Thanks, she is cuter with the facelift. The first face was just yarn and I figure either Aby or the dog would have it yanked out quickly!
This face came with eyebrows, but she looked a bit "trampish" with them! Not to mention, I could figure out how to sew them on as they were pencil thin! |

| Good job. I think she will love it. It is very cute and the new face is great.
LOL about the tramp, I think goldilocks was a little trampy.
I crocheted a doll about 20 years ago for my daughter. It was like yours, but the dress was really ruffly and had petticoats etc. Took me forever to make as the ruffles kept multiplying stitches. DD was sweet about it, but secretly kept it hidden under a blanket or sheet for many years. She told me later that it kept looking at her and gave her the willies. Too funny.
I was a doll collector, ummm, she wasn't I found out. The doll did find a new home to a young girl who was normal and didn't think it was creepy. |

| Love the story. This one has bloomers under the dress. Nothing was much trouble until I got to the face and then I was lost.
Hope this one doesn't freak Aby out and throw it to the dog! |

| I am sure she will love it. I think my DD watched some wierd movies with her big brother about dolls coming to life and attacking people. Seems to be the basis of this doll thing.
Aby will love it and maybe pass it down to her children someday. |
