I bought this plant this spring, thinking it was the tall, straight sanservia I had seen everywhere. I thought it was kinda funny that the leaves weren't as upright as most, but thought it was because it was a baby. Then, after looking things up I found there is a smaller sanservia, I think its common name is Bird's Nest. Is that what I have?
Here's a link to the picture of the plant in my journal...thanks for any help.
It is shaped like that, but it has the yellow stripe on one side...that's why I was slightly confused as to whether it was birds nest or regular, because I could only find pics of the regular sanservia with the yellow stripe...I just want to think its snake plant instead of bird nest because that's the one I wanted! I'm guessing baby snake plants are much more upright than this, huh?
lol...apparently my searching skills aren't that smooth! Thanks...that's it. I suppose I have to give up the dream that it will turn into a nice, tall verticle plant...oh well, it's still cool! Next time I'll pay more attention when I pick something up...thanks for walking me through it Larry.
