The second thread on Terriculture's Flower Art. She requested I create a second link as she is the art and I simply the mechanics. lol. She is back and has opened The Artisan's FLOWERPOT Cafe', her newest project. Terriculture will be posting flower art on this thread and also check out the wonderful Cafe', a place for all artisians to meet, discuss projects and show off their pieces. Please stop in and have a look. I have really enjoyed the Cut Flower's FLOWERPOT Cafe' Terri started in that forum and have learned so many things while visiting. Glad to have you back and expect new art ASAP!!

Not a problem. Can you press leaves to keep their colors? I love that one. It would actually make a great piece, if leaves could be preserved. Must do some research. By the way, I haven't seen Karma anywhere on here today, so I don't think she is neglecting her duties at the POT. She may be under the weather.

No traffic tonight is right! I amstill at work and there is so little happening that I have been playing on DG for most of my shift!

By the way, I am not on dial up, I have DSL but I type real slow!

We got Mom fixed up on DSL last week so now I can actually update her computer without having to take it apart, lug it home and then take it back and reconnect everything!

Well, time to sign out and go home.

Terrific N Talented Terri aka TNTT!

this is your show, let me just watch for awhile, then when I feel less like a lurker, I will show you some of my stuff...but I am not as creative as terri for sure! And none of my work is on DG except maybe a piece or two in a d mail...

I like all areas of art, but mixed media is my favorite, so unlimited. Lots of acrylic, but nothing as creatively fresh as terri's.

Also love the crazy funny words you use on this thread, great visuals run through my mind when I read them.

Hi Sharren!
I think I'm going to like what you do! Nearly EVERYTHING I do is mixed media.
I ended up doing a fine art degree beacuse I enjoyed all the areas in foundation so much, and didn't want to give up any! Painting, printmaking and sculpture.
I think the arty background helps with my flower arrangements,
Maybe I should think of myself as an artist, and my medium is flowers these days?

In my lifetime I have written a couple of poems and thousands of silly little rhymes many of which are scattered about in ancient threads. Some are fun though like one about a Troll in the garden Some years back that has poppedback up severaltimes over the years. http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/414595/

And I really don't know how many others. LOL write em and forget em mostly kinda stuff unless others joined in and made it more fun.

Good night! Lol This is evening for me. I just got home from work (10:00 p.m.)

I'll go look at that quilt, but I can't find the song! Please post a link to it when you get back to us.

No, I went to package seeds for a trade and pot up plants. I have spent the last hours looking for the #$@^% seeds and finally gave up for a bit. Let's see, I love tourquoise, hot pink, speriment green, and...poo brown. What are you doing still up. Did you use the timer button on the camera to take that self portrait?

Oops, forgot to answer your question. I am a night owl. I usually go to bed about 3 a.m. Need to turn in now a bit early though since the time change. Yawn... night night

Zanymuse! I love your naughty chair, how on earth you did that is beyond me!
Please bring it to the Flowerpot cafe', we are planning an 'exhibition of chairs' next week and it would be perfect for that.
I will be inviting everyone!

thankyou for that link Traci, a good idea for a theme sometime perhaps? HATS!!
