At least I think I did, and I have to tell someone because my boyfriend just won't go out and look at the piles with me anymore.
So far I have made two piles of compost consisting of apple drops, grass clippings, partially decomposed hay, and donkey and chicken manure. Those piles are cookin'! I turn them every day, and boy do they steam. I can't wait until they are done.

ps. the chicken manure really smells of ammonia, is ammonia acid or alkaline?
