Recently a thread has been created in the Artisans Forum for artists (which all of you here certainly are) to show off your work and visit. I'd like to invite everyone to come in and check out the Artisans Flowerpot Cafe.
We'd love to see some of your beautiful creations posted on the thread.
Please stop by and have a cup of coffee or a glass of iced tea. The cafe is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and has some really nice folks there. Everyone is welcome.
The cafe has really taken off with people posting their art. We are on page 4 and soon to be page 5 already. We don't want you to miss anything, so be sure to look at each of the threads. We'd love for you to post your artwork, but please try to be sure you are on the most current thread so your work doesn't get lost in the shuffle.
hey Janet... Here is you a pic of one of my best needle work efforts... I was sixteen when I did this at my Moms side. We made a pink one and a yellow one. This one survived because Mom had it. I used the yellow and it was missing from my home when I returned from five years of out of State ramblings... I just turned 68 so it has been around for a while...shirleyt
Oh Shirley that is beautiful! Thank you so much for posting your photo. You really need to post it along with your story on the Cafe thread so everyone can see it. Everyone there loves quilts and other needle art. You can definitely see the love that went into creating it. I can only imagine the amount of time that went into it and the stories told while you were working with your Mom. I'm so glad you still have one of the two of them. You can pass it down to the next generation, and the one after.
