Hi Everyone, I've been doing stained glass for about a year now and in that time have accumulated a lot of glass leftovers that I would like to use in a mosaic, rather than getting rid of. The only thing is that I have never done a mosaic before. I was wondering if anyone who knows about mosaics would give me a run down of the process used to make one. Are there any particular important things I should know about (for example, can I use any grout). Any help would be great.
Thanks
Jeff

I use a silicon base glue to help custion the glass from what you put it on , than a standard grout from home depot

You can also find videos concerning mosiacs on this website. http://www.expertvillage.com/categories.htm
Just type in mosiac under search.

or do a glass on glass and no grout but be sure your silicone adhesive is absolutely clear ;-))

My good friend and mentor Pam made this from scrap.

Good way to use old windows too.

There are grinder bits that soften the top edge of the glass pieces just for this application.
