#1 These are presently packed away but thinking maybe I would like to look at them again.
Lots more of various collections. You remember, I also had a shop and sold, have given to my children, friends, neighbors, grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Just happen to have an eye for what was next. Never really made any money.
Whatever I earned I just bought something else. Pretty harmless. Kept me out of the stores. I hate retail even though I owned a designer/wholesale business.
Sold collection of Campbell's Soup memorabelia to a B&B for their breakfast barn...$900.00 and I probably left money on the table. She was thrilled. This represents 30 years of collecting and culling. Also have true antiques that are family heirlooms from 165 years and more. Not worth money but the connection means everything.
LouC - you have the best eye of anyone I have meet to date. You know your stuff and then some, really... You all have to know that from the moment you walk in her home there are treasures everywhere you dont even know where to look to see them all.
Oh what fun to look at them.
Our youngest son Christian ( 36 now) used to drag his around ALL of the time and I wish it wasn't lost during one of our Army moves.Fond memories of San Antonio :-)
