This is in a new house, finished there today. She is going with a black granite countertop.
We call the door style Shaker. Oak wood with Provincial stain & satin polyurethane.
Next kitchen job is for another new house, cherry wood, finished cranberry color.

Beautiful work as usual, Bernie.
Looks great on that floor.

Is there a particular brand of poly that you use?

I have made some tabletops for our restaurant, but the "troops" insist on using windex which softens the poly. I want to refinish them this winter, but need a harder surface (without breaking the bank). Being part-owner, my labor is free, but material budget is limited.

I have learned that exterior poly is toughter than interior, but finishing is not my strongest skill.

Why don't you try the stuff made for wood floors. Not a whole lot more money.

That floor looks like the tile I've picked out for my kitchen. Do you have a picture of this one finished? That'll give me a much better idea of what that type of cabinet and tile will look like.

Thanks,
Janet
