It doesn't appear that I had posted these in the past, so for what it is worth, these are a couple of the things that have escaped from my little glass shed. First is the trial window for my dear friends house. It almost fit.

Then came the "real" one. It was a better fit.

Little name plates are a lot of fun. Wish I had the ability to do the letter sandblasting myself.

And currently there is this little piece languishing on the bench. Some delightful pieces of scrap glass awaiting my return to the chilly little shed.

And this one again. Sorry to be redundant, but each time I go to the sunroom in the afternoon and see the light streaming through the magnificent colors it makes me feel very content, and wishing I was in a Glasgow Tea Room.

Thank you. Never could afford to buy the finished product so I figured maybe it was something I could do in my dotage. Turned out to be great fun, and they look ,OK, if you don't get too close.

Well, I'm not really buying the thing about looking OK "if you don't look too close," LOL. I'm sure the craftsmanship looks as good a few inches away as it does in these internet photos!

There's something wonderful about installed stain glass in a room...it really transforms it. I love your last photo. Your work is wonderful, thanks for posting the pictures.

Because of the mild weather coming through it's very foggy here in the city so the boss just called in and said to leave at 3 instead of 4:45..I'm passing a stained glass studio that is usually closed when I get home (travel 100 miles each way to work) so I'm excited..will get to stop in...

It looks beautiful so far! Is that the stained glass for the garden book? I forget the actual name but I had checked it out of the library last summer and loved some of the projects.

Please post the finished project.

Will do..usually when I purchase a book perhaps there is one or two patterns that I'd love to do..not this book..absolutely each and every one of them..I especially like the copper and glass obelist...

I just got in from a stained glass studio..she had designed a Georgian Bay scene..I purchased the pattern packed a while ago and then dropped in again and she had another that I loved..so, tonight I picked out all of my glass and she put dychronic bevels around it..just gorgeous..so, I'm ready to take on my BIL's gift..will bring the 2 pattern packets to work tomorrow and let him choose...photo doesn't do it justice...will take photo when completed..

Balvenie- I just love your windows. I remember seeing them before..maybe on this site or somewhere else. Anyhow that part doesnt matter. Your work is gorgeous!!!!

Betty- I have that same book...I loved that heron water feature when I saw it. I started making the dragonfly spinner but have yet to get the copper pipe I need to go around it.

Chickeemama, same here..heron is all but done, need to copper..trying to talk my DB into helping me because you really need a few sets of hands..so will wait till late March, get him over and do the copper...I'm just so excited..not quite sure where he'll go..maybe near the pond..but I cut a 3-d heron and painted it and that's where he is placed so have to think that one out... love the dragonfly spinner, what glass did you use for the wings..

Love it...can't you just wait to get it into the garden..DB was here for 1/2 hr. Friday and I reminded him that I needed help..told me not to wait until spring because he get's busy..so guess I'll have to pick a weekend, get the copper and make a visit..

Normally you purchase a book and there is but one or two pieces you would like to do...this book, I'd love to do each and everyone of them...
