I just had my bathtub redone by Bath Fitters.
Finally! Out with that tacky blue 1960's tub.
Eventually I'll have thetoilet replaced as well.

Surround too.
They framed the window beautifully.

That looks super!
We are going to have to tear our walls down to two bathrooms and retile them ourselves.
In one of the bathrooms we are going to put in a window to allow more light since our bathroom is so dark.
So looking at your bathroom I was pleased to see an idea for a bathroom window.
Thank you,
Anita

If I had the $$$ I would have the entire thing retiled.
I am unable to do it myself so Bathfitters was the best option for me.
It's great and very easy to clean.

I got the curved shower rod. It's amazing what a difference it makes - more elbow room.

The room is warmer too.
That wall faces west & gets the wind. It always felt drafty - not only from the window, but through the tile as well.
The window was replaced in August and with the wall surround covering the original tile, it has made a huge difference.

Its lovely !

We are planning on putting in a window in our bathroom sometime this summer and I had thought of the same kind of window to let air in during the hot summer months.

Love it!

We have a window in the shower/bathtub area also. Since we have a white tub we are going to replace the tub surround ourselves. I was wondering what you plan to do if anything concerning a window treatment. I have had a plastic shower curtain up at ours for a while, but after we do the bath over I want to do something a little different. Any suggestions concerning window treatment will be much appreciated.

I'm not doing anything with the window.
The glass is frosted.
I'm high up & there's nothing opposite me so privacy isn't really an issue.

The most anyone would see anyway is my shoulders & up.
The window is only 3x3 ft.

The new surround looks great, but I kinda liked the blue tub!

I grew up with plain white tubs, so the blue just looks more fun to me. :)

LOL!
It was an ugly blue - sort of gray-ishy.
It didn't even match the blue toilet - which looks better now.

Add that to the lousy caulking & some loose tiles... it had to be done.
