Anybody make cut and pierced lampshades? a girl at work is going to start teaching me tomorrow, I am so excited! They can be quite beautiful. Will post a picture of the shade when I am done.

I've never done anything like that so I'm looking forward to seeing your shade. I'm imagining how pretty it will be.

Is that with tin? I have done tin punch before and just recently did a luminary. but it wasn't exactly high art

Did you learn how this is done? Any photos? We're all curious about this. :-)

OK. I recall doing some of that years ago. But not lampshades

Now you are wondering.. why else would a person do this technique? lol For an art class when we were exploring paper work. Embossing, cut and pierce, I can't remember all the terms for the "paper sculptures" that we did.
