Good article. I am very allergic to cedar and pine trees. Having to attend a party with a real tree can cause me days and sometimes weeks of illness. So I would add that might be a consideration too. Not toxic, but if I got a reaction that turned into a sinus infection which went into pneumonia, well let's just say it has ruined my holidays.
