Surreal is the exact phrase Carol, my bride, used for it. It was a serendipity "lucky" image capture.
Ironically, it was after the worst 'ash' storm we've seen here in our 25 years. The sky was full of high-altitude ashes floating to sea and this is the result of wind-shift that blew it back toward us about sunset.
Ashes covered everything. Lots of fertilizer for the spring flowers.
