I can't believe I'm the first to comment this article. You have an amazing capacity for sustained invention which I have only seen in very few people. Have you ever considered publishing your drawings in book form. I am reminded vividly of the work of several of my favourite fantasy artists including Wayne Barlowe, Tim White, Rodney Matthews and James Gurney. I will cool my heels impatiently while waiting for the next part.

Thanks so much for all the accolades! Regarding doing a book, well, yes, I have that in my mind and in the works! It will be called "Aroidia - The Vision and The Reality" because it will include both my fictional plants and the real work I'm doing with hybridizing aroids. Hopefully, it will come out in Spring of 2008. Meanwhile, many more Aroidia articles to come (four more already in the publishing schedule, for those of you who are authors and want to take a sneak peek!).

Wow indeed! I was prepared to be bored - they can't be winter sowed, can they? - and instead was completely entranced. Excellent job. xx, Carrie

Hi,
I went to sign into the website and saw this amazing article and had to keep reading on (the heck with signing in lol) I loved reading above the wonder and fantasy of childhood evolving into a full blown obsession. It was very informative and I can't wait to read the book. Thanks.

Most interesting read! So creative and such ability to put thoughts into words so vividly! I felt like I was right there with her! Can't wait for the next article!
