There is one prominent spot in a front yard flower bed that I've been struggling to find the best plant. (A dwarf Gingko doesn't get quite enough sun, but too much sun for a Japanese Maple.) It's an awkward spot. I've several tree peonies in other places that I treasure. But, lets face it, in the winter they are not all that great to look at. What about an intersectional peony? At the prices I've seen It's not an impulse buy! Which one?
