This thread is for anything babysitting!

Going to start looking, better late then never I guess, for the perfect sitter. I'd ideally like someone 18 or older with transportation. Since someone in this age bracket would often be working minimum wage I'd like to do better than that of course.

What do you think is fair for babysitting? I should note I live in Texas, one of the most affordable places in the U.S. so we aren't talking like California where it costs an arm and a leg for everything.

Edited to say: going the younger sitter route. They don't charge the 10-15 range adults are wanting to babysit the one child.
