The December issue of Fine Garden has a nice article on ornamental grasses. One that I had never heard of before, Berkely Sedge, grows in full sun and full shade! I can think of several shady places that I would consider trying this in.
Don't spend the $7 for the magazine if you don't have a subscription, but if you are in the library, it is worth a look. I checked out the website, but I didn't see this particular article.
