Does anyone know the official name of the palm, blue/grey in color, and of H>50', with huge fan-like palms? The seeds are clusters that resemble tropical plums (found in Guatemala)--these resemble some really big grapes!
I wish to plant these and get some palms on some pots. It may take a few years before one can appreciate the magnitude, but if given to friends and family, these could withstand hurricanes, droughts, et al...oh, sorry, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera! Am I right?
Oh, its me, lonesome me. And nobody else--rather, no one else! So, I should hope to get some good feedback and locate the actual palm I long for...the only thing I know: it is not the Jesus Crist Palm that is so popular in Key West!
