Darrell, I would be interested in seeing your stairways also.

I want to get started in selling plants, where do you get most of your supplies and do you start some of your plants from seed or do you purchase plugs or liners? I love to start plants from seed but so far it is just hit or miss for me. Last year was my 1st year to start alot from seed in a greenhouse and I did really good on some things and some things shriveled and died. I gave plants to everyone I knew and some people I didn't know.
I have so many plants that need divided and I hate to throw them out or let them die so I would like to pot some of them up and sell them. I also have a Koi pond so I have pond plants that grow like crazy every year.
The only GH in the area sells the same old, same old every year. I have given them plants before and I have given them seeds but he doesn't like to try stuff he can't count on, anything new. I like unusual plants, things you don't see in everyones garden.
I am going to give it a try this year and see how well it does. How many years does it usually take to get off the ground? How many of you also sell metal trellises, shepards hooks or garden art and that type of stuff? My husband is a welder so he could make things if he will, otherwise my brother in law makes stuff for me. The BIL has made some great stuff for my mother in law, he is pretty creative.
I have gotten several ideas for things to do from this forum and any input would be great from some of you that have done this for awhile. One of the other small GH said she would buy all the tomato plants I could raise. That's a start.
