Hi - I want to make a piece where I glue an image onto my wood mosaic base, and then use stained glass pieces on top - so that once finished the image shows through. Anyone have a suggestion for the adhesive to use? I'm concerned that the paper image will get wet/wrinkled from the glue(Weldbond),if not immediately then over time. Someone else suggested I could laminate the image first but then it would have a shine to it and not sure this would work. Anyone done this before - placed an image (paper) under their glass?
I was going to suggest laminating it. Yes you can, ask for non-glare. I work at a printing company. If you cant find a company, send it to me and I'll get it done. I will even send you a mailing tube to send it back to me in. I'll only charge you S/H.
D-mail your address.

Thanks so much for the tip. I use a printing place near my work so will try there and thanks for the kind offer to help with the laminating! Will post a pic when it's done. Cheers.
I like your idea to use glass on top of it. Yes, I want to see it finished. I might have to do one☺ HubB & I are taking a 5 week SG class. It starts the 12th of Feb. and I cant wait!
