Check out the plant database, this may be the Clematis virginiana that I added today - the flowers are tiny, only about an inch across?

It looks like the picture of clematis x fargesiodes 'Paul Farges' in my Hort book. A synonym is clematis 'Summer Snow'... zones 5-9 and over 20 feet tall.
