Has anyone had experience creating fake wood pieces using concrete, plaster, or whatever is good in your climate? It's getting popular again, after being "out of fashion" since Victorian times. The detail is so fine, it would seem that they are cast somehow, like the leaves on certain threads at this site. I've seen a few pieces for sale, at exorbitant prices, but I guess they would be a lot of work. I've seen pictures of faux bois tables, chairs, etc. So-o-o nice. Anyone know anything about this craft?
