Why is it that people are not willing to pay for your time and effort to put together fund raisers, sowing seeds for plants, etc. Everybody wants something for nothing. Don't they understand that it takes time to get the flowers to a saleable point, heating your greenhouse, etc.
I'm doing a fundraiser at local schools and they want me to give them the hanging baskets, they say they have to make 50% profit, and that's what I say. They want me to do all the work and get nothing in return.
I'm just so frustrated. I'm all for helping schools and charity, but this is a part of my business and I have to receive something.
Am I wrong in thinking this?
I know ya'll will have some suggestions for me.
Thanks in advance.
