I was wondering if anyone in a cold climate can tell me if the purples come back from the roots. In my climate the whites come back from the roots in my garden, I have double purple I grew last year and the plants were awesome reaching to about five feet tall. I really liked them as they were upright and not sprawling like the whites. The looked like lovely purple stemmed trees. I collected seed (second year growing, first in the ground I did potted the prev year).
