It's easy. Buy seeds or plants and plant them. It can be very attractive, too. Unfortunately, I have never been able to figure out how to cook it so it doesn't taste like brillo. So I grow it as an ornamental.
Kale is best grown as a fall crop. It stands the frost very well - in fact some people think it requires a touch of frost for best flavor.
In FL, you're probably not going to get that. If you can plant it now, do so, before the weather gets hot. In general, treat it as any member of the cabbage family.
