Someone in my office gave me this plant - it was dying, but now is doing much better. Since I don't know what it is, I don't know what care it would prefer - other than my current strategy of benign neglect. I'd appreciate anyone who could tell me what it is, from the photos it is difficult to tell, but it is tree-like with several stalks/trunks like a ficus, its about 3.5 feet tall, and has some new growth which has started at the bottom. The leaves are dark green, slightly leathery, and up to 11" long. Thanks!

Here's one more photo, which shows the new growth at the bottom. I'm going to re-pot it soon, but wanted to know more about it before I do that task.

Looks like it might be Ficus Ali: [HYPERLINK@davesgarden.com]

I have one that I bought a couple of years ago and love it.

Mine was in a big pot to start with. I have no idea how old it is but there are, and were, exposed roots. It does great in a south window. I water it when it gets very dry. I've even had it grow little seeds for me although I've never tried growing the seeds. I've only fertilized it twice since I got it 3 years ago.

I took this shot just now to show the kind of light it gets in winter.
