I had never thought about rescuing mini roses from their post-Valentine's Day fate of the trash bin. I think that more roses are better, and that one cannot have too many roses. Minis scattered around my bigger roses would be wonderful. And, if I can buy them inexpensively, that is all the better. That means I can have more, sooner.

I also like elephant ears. The picture is me among our elephant ears this past summer. These sported bright yellow flowers, a phenomenom I have never seen before in elephant ears.

What a good idea! I was thinking I couldn't fit in any more roses but maybe I can.
