This is my first year of growing numerous peonies and of course I thought I had this all down...put the roots I got after the ground had frozen here in nursery pots, covered them with at least 6 inches of soil, put a cover over them to keep them dark & put them in the unheated but insulated garage...tonight I accidently knocked the cover off...they have sprouted..some are at least 18 inches...we still have snow on the ground...what do I do????? Please Help...Deb
