I just wanted to share my beautiful oak, which I photographed on December 2, 2007. Plant files didn't have any photos of the species' fall color so I submitted it and thought I would show it here also. What a beautiful show it was, after my flowers had gone. It is interesting that the leaves do not fall while scarlet but turn the color of cinnamon and remain on the tree for months before spring growth comes.
