At the house I owned previously, I had put in extensive landscaping. When I sold the house, I put it in the contract that I was to get starts from any plants that I wished. However, shortly after moving I ended up incapacitated with a herniated disc in my back. When I was ready to go back & divide some of the plants, I was unable to get anyone to help me. The people I had sold the property to were very nasty, so I never got sarts of anything. One of the plants that I had was a Dwarf Weeping Pussy Willow. In the 8 or 9 years that I had it, it never got more that 28 inches tall. The branches curved down forming a perfectly round ball. My ducks always made their nest inside it each summer. I have been unable to find any plant that is even similar and all of the many growers I have contacted say they have never heard of anything like it. I would have liked to at least gotten a few cuttings from it to see if it would reproduce true or if it was a graft.
Has anyone ever heard of this type of pussy willow?
