I've been growing at my location now for three years. It rivals the Salinas valley as far as greens productions go, IMO. It's cold cold cold with sun sun sun. this year I'm going to focus on musclin mix and transport it no more than 150 miles from my garden. My marketing focus will be, restaurants, public schools, private schools, universities, hospitals, retirement homes, and natural food co-ops ( No. Ca.) For the last three years I've had much success with these greens but want to take it to the next level, say 200 lbs./ day. Any experienced greens growers out there I'd love to hear from you, as I've already reinvented the wheel many times with this not so little garden project.
I've got the sowing, harvesting and processing stuff down ( I think, any help there is welcome) what I need is help with is the business/marketing end of this. Has anyone here tried 200 lbs./ day
Thanks |
