I have a BEAUTIFUL new 7.5' green bean Teepee sitting in a brand new lasagna bed filled with sifted compost and earthworms. I'm planting Kentucky Wonder and Sugar Snap beans to grow up the eight legs of the treliss. But, what can I grow in the middle of the bed, that will appreciate some of the shade the covered trellis will provide? I'd like to plant another veggie, or, a shade loving flower that would be attractive beneath the green beans.
I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited!
