The whole market dropped significantly on Friday, I'd chalk it up to that and not anything specifically to do with Ebay.

Aint it a shame! Pigs get fed and hogs get killed.

Hey I grew up on a pig farm and never saw one hog! Pigs are very smart and good with eggs for breakfast!

They can be mean too, as Great-Uncle Harold's face attested to after age 9 or so.

Has anybody heard how Dave is faring with the auction setup? I haven't seen anything in weeks but maybe I'm missing the correct thread.

I don't think I've seen Dave post anything here or in the other forums all last week--maybe he and Trish took a well deserved vacation! Or else he's locked himself up somewhere and is doing nothing but work on the auction site!

We spent much of last week doing some much needed farm work and we'll be spending at least 2 days this week doing the same. Downed trees knocked out our barbed wire fence in several areas so we're cleaning up and putting a new fence up. Over 5,000 feet of fence is a big job for two small sized people. :)

The auction system is my highest priority, though, and I'm going to be doing some serious work on it today.

Sorry to hear that--that fence does not sound like a fun job! I had hoped you were relaxing on a beach somewhere!

Working on the farm is more relaxing than the beach, actually. :-)

I sympathize. After cleaning up garden destruction from two back to back hurricanes, I appreciate couples who work in tandem during horticultural crisis.

i don't envy you the fence job. that ranks right next to refinishing hardwood floors in my book!
