This was a new introduction in 2006 from the Dutch wholesaler Van Hemert. Seed wasn't readily available until the summer of 2007 and now can easily be found for sale or trade.

This can be described as a liac carnation with purple basal blotch.

The Van Hemert seed I obtained came though with only one plant reverting to a lilac single.

Lovely picture, cowgirl! This will have to be something on my list...I've become a huge poppy fan and have had great luck so far with wintersowing and transplanting in hunks. Of course with success comes a longing for more, more, more:-)
