Okay, so my son has his first REALLY bad case of diaper rash. Been using the creams, but it hasn't done the trick, so I was wondering what you guys recommend. The next step is going to be to take him to the doctor and have it looked at if I can't get it cleared up in the next day or so. He has had several loose BM's and it has scalded his bottom. I think this is the residual effect of some antibiotics that he was on. Didn't start while he was on the meds, but probably about a week after he was done. At first it wasn't any big deal and we were treating it, but as of this morning, it is horrible!!
Leaving his diaper off for long periods of time is not an option because he is at daycare and 15 months old and always on the run, so options other than that one would be greatly appreciated.
