Another good one, Lee Anne! thank you. I grew a potentilla from seed last year, but it is P. nepalensis 'Helen Jane', so I don't think it has the same growth habit. The flowers are a lovely magenta, but it grew very low to the ground. You article reminds me that I still need the P. fruticosa I originally fell in love with :0)
I like yours, too, Jan. I keep buying these, planning for them to go under this tree or that, and DH finds he can't dig because of the roots. I guess I'll have to give in and plant them out in the open! Thank you, Lee Anne, I like whatchacallims! x, Carrie
