OK, theoretically, I understand most of what you said (my father collected Fine Art Photographs), but you're saying I needn't throw away my point-and-shoot if I learn how it works? Thank you for a very helpful article to which I shall refer frequently. xx, Carrie

Hey Carrie,
An automatic camera can be handy to have in some situations. Social ones for example. But it doesn't take long to get good at taking manual photographs & from then on, you find yourself enjoying it more & more.

Very funny. :) If its worth shooting, do it with a camera. I've never handled a gun & doubt that'll ever change.
