Hi, everyone! I just started taking watercolor painting lessons, and so enthusiastic - but...I am wanting to use free patterns from different web sites. Can someone help me figure out how to make the patterns larger, to fit a sheet of 8"x10" or 11"x14" paper?

I did a google.com search and came up with Microsoft Paint, which I tried, but once I get it enlarged, I can't get it to print out.

Can anyone email me and offer me a solution? Thank you SO MUCH!

For an easy solution, copy your images in either Word or Power Point and use the graphics tools to enlarge them. Afterwards, simply print them out.

Best regards,

Print the pattern from the web, then scan at a high resolution (300 dpi). You will be able to enlarge it then, but at a lower dpi.

If your using clipart through your computer, click on print preview and it will show you what the pattern will look like before you print it out. Be careful when you enlarge something, because the precentage is large.

I don't need it badly enough to pay $40 for it, but thanks. If you know of a similar program that is FREE, please post it.

I don't blame you KJ, I wouldn't want to spend 40.00 either. Did anyone try a google search for this?

it prints out perfect. i did a pattern that was smaller than 3x5 inches and it enlarged it to 104 inches by 9 inches. it has a try it version...
It was worth it for what i used it for...
