I am buying some trees that are about two feet tall right now and I want to plant them in pots to set out side but I do not know what size of pots to use. I will be moving to a new house in 9 months and I plan on planting the trees then. I am trying to fatten up the trunk of the tree so what size of pot would be good for me? I can get four inch pots for next to nothing but I do not know it those would work or if they would stunt the growth of the trunk.
